Keys to a Flames victory, consistency, sounds simple but this team can look like 3 different teams in one game. Come out with energy and show the Sharks whose home it is! Like always the first goal is critical but the Flames are a much more contained and disciplined team when they play with the lead. Continue the solid PK and switch things up on the PP, not sure what, maybe include Jackman on a unit and use his energy and size. Defense will need to be very physical when San Jose enters the offensive zone and minimise the quality scoring chances for the Sharks high octane offense.

Things to keep an eye on, San Jose played last night against a young Oilers team and had no issue defeating them. Fatigue could play in effect in the later stages of the game since it is a 6pm puck drop and the Sharks played a late game last night. The Sharks power play vs the Flames penalty kills will be interesting both are currently rocking their respective category. Another area of concern and too look out for is the “face offs” San Jose has a success rate of 57.3% while the Flames success rate is 46.9%.
