Flames Sign Cervenka

Flames sign KHL Stud Roman Cervenka
Jay Feaster announced on Wednesday that the club has signed Roman Cervenka. It is a 1 year deal worth $3,775,000.

Cervenka was born in Praha Czech Republic and is now 26 years of age.

Interesting to see the Flames sign a European free agent, and it shows that Feaster and his team are exploring every option available.

Roman is a talented center that can put the puck in the net; in his last 155 games played Roman has accumulated 84 goals and 173 points.

Gutsy move by the team but Feaster and management feel he will contribute and play a top six role.

Does this mean Jokinen will not be back?
